它用于海濱沙礦，金礦、錫礦、鎢礦、鐵礦和鉛鋅等礦物的選別；也有用于從浮銅尾礦中回收鈾、鋯礦物，而鈾礦物的富集比高達1000倍；或且用于磨礦回路中回收已解離的金粒，以及選礦廠尾礦和堆存的老尾礦中回收有價礦物，愈來愈被人們所重視。

This  kind of equipment is used to sort minerals such as beach placers, gold ores,  tin ores, tungsten ores and lead-zinc ores, or used to recycle uranium mineral and  zirconium minerals from tailings of floating copper. However, the concentration  ratio of uranium minerals reaches as high as 1,000 times. Or it is used to  recycle dissociated gold grains on the grinding circuit as well as recycle  valuable minerals from tailings of ore dressing plants and stored old tailings.  It attacks more and more attention.

圓錐選礦機主要優(yōu)點是處理能力大，與跳汰、螺旋選礦機和搖床等設備相比，占地面積小，處理每噸礦石的投資費用最低，它有效回收粒度為40-400微米，圓錐選礦機可選礦石分選粒度為0.074 -2mm。給礦中的重礦物含量對選別指標有影響，重礦物含量少，選礦回收率也下降。給礦濃度應在55-65%之間。給礦中含泥量（ -0.074mm級別）不宜超過5-10%。

The  main advantages of cone separators are: Their handling ability is strong;  compared with equipment including jigs, spiral separators and shaking table,  they occupy small area; their investment costs to handle every ton of ores is  the lowest; their effective recycling granularity range is 40-400μm; and the  separation size of washable ores for cone separators is 0.074-2mm. The content of heavy minerals in the  feeding ores has effects on the sorting of indexes. When the content of heavy  minerals is low, the ore dressing recovery percentage also decreases. The feed  concentration shall be 55-65%. The silt content (grade 0.074mm) in the minerals shall  ideally not exceed 5-10%.
